Day of the Dash

Mud Runner

Okay mud runners. When you arrive on race day, if you have gawkers in tow, lose them. They’re not gonna wanna rock the race packet pick-up line with you. No packet? You’re not racing the mud run. But yes, you can let a bud pick it up if said bud has a copy of your photo ID, your confirmation, and a signed, initialed, dated copy of the participation waiver.

Arrive one hour, minimally, before your wave launches into its own rollicking, rowdy mud slide. Parking -- $10 a carload. Mud runner dress code -- running shoes and clothes that dry quickly. Not cotton. It feels like lead when you’re tired and it’s wet. Gloves are cool, too. Remember: No food. No alcohol. No pets. Period. Rain or shine, we’re on! After the last race, awards -- and then the big bash!

What to Bring

• Shoes- Normal running shoes will be best.

• You might what a pair of gloves to prevent rope burn or splitters from the obstacles.

• Clothes- Quick drying apparel would be best. Cotton and thick clothing will only weigh you down and make you colder. Remember that you will get muddy!

• Change of clothes so you can look good for the Bash!

• Spare change for food and beverages.

• A positive attitude!

Important things

• Photo ID for packet pickup. No ID No Dash! Sorry!

• A copy of your confirmation email.

Packet Pickup

• Packet pick up will be available on site, starting one hour before the first wave. Your packet will have anything that you will need. Your bib with safety pins, race chip, and t-shirt and whatever other crazy things we decide to throw in there!

• We will not ship any packets. They must be picked up at the site.

• You will need a photo ID, an initialed, dated and signed copy of your waiver. This is optional but will speed up registration. Download one here.

When to Arrive

Please try to be there at least one hour before your wave time. You will need to park, pick up your packet and get your game face on!

Parking

• At most events parking will be onsite. However, we do recommend you check the race website that you are registered for further details.

• Parking will be $10 per car, so pile all of your friends in! Please have your cash ready to help speed up the process.

Awards

The award ceremony will take place after the completion of the last wave. We will be recognizing the following categories:

• Top 3 male and female participates

• Top 3 teams

• More awards dependent on the race

The Bash

Food, music, beer and fun will begin approximately 45 minutes after the first wave start.
